Accredited Universities For NYSC In Benin Republic
According to a report by Daily Nigerian, most of the no less than eight foreign universities in Benin, Niger and Cameroon award degrees within a few months of enrolment. In addition to the affordable master's degrees in English-speaking countries, Korean government, Korean universities, and several private foundations offer numerous scholarship programs for international students.
The general director of the National Youth Service Corps, Shuaibu Ibrahim, accused the University of the Republic of Benin of presenting unqualified individuals for one year of compulsory service in the country. Other universities are located in Niger, Liberia, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Uganda and Togo. The Corps has launched an investigation into the University in Benin, which it says has held unqualified graduates. The director-general of the NYSC deplored the lack of professionalism shown by the institution's unqualified graduates.
In the short time it has been in existence, it has recorded exemplary performances by students and teachers in winning scholarships and awards. It has a higher number of international students, making it more popular than Houdegbe North American University in Benin.

The university is accredited by the Benin Education Ministry and authorized by the Nigerian National University Commission, and its Nigerian graduates go to Nigeria to serve NYSC service.
To top it all off, Ecole Superieure de Management (ESM) Benin University has top the list of accredited universities in the Republic of Benin in the list of recognized universities for Nigerian students which was recently released by the Nigerian Ambassador to the Republic of Benin. These private universities are among the top ten private universities in the country and are recognised by the Nigerian University Commission (NUC) after being recognized by the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
The National University Commission (NUC), which acts as a regulator and accreditation body for universities in Nigeria, has a list of accredited federal, state, and private universities for postgraduate programs. The list is approved for university postgraduate programs and includes both federal and state universities that are accredited to issue degrees and certificates to graduate students.

Graduates
of eight universities in Benin, Niger and Cameroon have been barred from
attending the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) orientation course. No fewer
than eight foreign universities in the Republic of Benin (Republic of Benin)
and Niger (Cameroon) have also been excluded from the NYSC orientation course.
These
schools, which are not approved for the NUC course certificate, are not
accepted in Nigeria. However, this does not mean that accredited schools do not
provide high-quality training. Since most of the institutions that Nigerian
students in our neighboring countries visit are inferior, the National
University Commission, the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board and the
Department of Education should blacklist them to save innocent students.
In
face of the collapse of African universities presenting fake graduates, the
Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps said that 60% of them are
based in Benin, 15% in Cameroon, two in Chad and Ghana each, 41% in Guinea,
five institutions and four in Ivory Coast.
